A handy tool on MetaMask for airdrop hunters

The famous crypto wallet MetaMask is teaming up with Daylight to offer a new feature to its users: verification of eligibility for airdrops and potential non-fungible token (NFT) claims . This new feature, already available on several popular blockchains, will allow you to no longer miss out on interesting opportunities.

Thanks to Daylight integration, MetaMask offers a real solution to check your eligibility for airdrops from different protocols.

No more spending your nights on Telegram groups or chasing the latest threads on Twitter. Simply go to the “Explore” page of your MetaMask wallet, there you will find a new section called “Eligible Airdrops” . At a glance, you will be able to view the airdrops you are eligible for and potentially claim your tokens.

💡 Are you a fan of airdrops, these free distributions of tokens offered by certain protocols to encourage the adoption of their project? Daylight: cross-chain and personalized recommendations for NFTs

The usefulness of Daylight is not limited to simply checking your eligibility. Daylight’s API goes further by leveraging “various social factors” and suggests NFTs that might interest you. These factors consist of on-chain and off-chain elements that profile your interests in the world of NFTs.

Here are some examples of criteria used by Daylight:

  • Be on an allowlist for an NFT project;
  • Hold the token required to participate in an airdrop or Mint;
  • Hold a token linked to the project , such as a governance token which could give you voting rights on future developments of the protocol;
  • Have already interacted with the creator of an NFT in the past , for example by having participated in a previous mint of one of his collections;
  • Following the creator of the NFT on a platform or decentralized social network like Farcaster, which could demonstrate a particular interest in their artistic work.

Daylight features are not just for the Ethereum ecosystem. Airdrop eligibility verification and personalized NFT recommendations are available on other blockchains widely used in DeFi: Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum, Base, Zora and Polygon .

It is therefore possible to explore all the opportunities offered by different protocols, without worrying about the blockchain on which they are based.
