Such a price had not been reached for a long time. One of the non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in the CryptoPunks’ collection just sold for $2.6 million. We also note an increase in floor prices, despite the current context.

CryptoPunk sold for $2.6 million

This sale concerns NFT Cryptopunk number 4464 , which would almost remind one of his comrades from the Bored Apes Yacht Club:

In total, the CryptoPunk was traded for 2,500 ETH . If we consider only the sum in ETH, it is the 4th most expensive CryptoPunk of all time. But if you consider the price in dollars (and you should, in the current context), it is “only” the 15th most expensive punk in the history of the collection.

Still, the news can be seen as a welcome oasis in these bear market times, where neither BTC nor ETH are managing to move significantly.

The floor prices of the major collections are taking on new colors

Because it seems that this is not an isolated act. The floor prices of NFT collections have tended to change in recent days , when they had fallen sharply following the bear market. Among Cryptopunks in particular, there is a certain renewed interest:

In addition, we observe that the main collections of NFTs have been in the green since yesterday , which also shows a renewed interest:

However, we will remain cautious. The macro context does not really encourage optimism this week, and the crisis in the cryptocurrency world is not yet behind us . But this type of sales shows that the ecosystem continues to generate interest, bear market or not.
